Adding Heart Rate Variability Variables to Model Improves Atrial Fibrillation Detection in Patients with Obstructive Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy

Abstract: Background : Atrial fibrillation (AF) is remarkably common in patients with ob structive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (oHCM) and is associated with consider able symptoms and poor survival. Studies on the relationship between HRV and AF in patients with HCM are lacking. Herein, we aimed to investigate whether the addition of HRV variables can improve AF detection in these patients.

Abstract: Catheter ablation has emerged as an effective therapeutic strategy for the management of ventricular arrhythmias, particularly in patients refractory to pharmacological treatment. This study evaluates the safety, efficacy, and clinical outcomes of catheter ablation therapy, highlighting its role in reducing arrhythmia burden, improving cardiac function, and enhancing patient quality of life.
